QUIET HOURS - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Loud music or noise that disturbs other guests is not allowed at any time.


PARK MAXIMUM - We will try to maintain the site maximum of 8 persons; however, we are prohibited from exceeding the maximum park occupancy and must not overload the park facilities for the safety of our guests in the case of an emergency situation. Therefore, when necessary we will reduce the number of persons to less than 8 persons per campsite, not rent an available vacant campsite, or prohibit individuals from visiting park registered guests when the maximum park occupancy as been reached. Only one RV is allowed on a campsite.


VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC - Speed limit within the resort is 5 M.P.H. Moving vehicles, including bicycles and motor scooters may be driven on paved roads only. Vehicles and boats must fit on your space and not infringe on roadways or other sites. Motorcycles may be used within the park for transportation only. Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep vehicle noise at a minimum. All drivers must be legally licensed for the roadways, including golf carts. Sandpoint guests that have UNLICENSED golf carts are not allowed past the Sandpoint entrance/exit in their UNLICENSED golf cart.


CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT - Check-in time is 2:00 PM for all sites and 3:00 PM for rental units. Check-out time is 2:00 PM for all sites and 11:00 AM for all rental units. You must re-register by 10:00 AM to extend your stay, provided spaces are available. Pre-Arranged Early Check-in (8am to 2pm) or Late Check-Out (by 4:30 pm) will be charged at half the nightly rate. Late Check-Out Charges for Rental Trailers: Up to 1 Hour 25% of nightly Rate, 1 Plus Hours 50% of nightly Rate.


GUESTS - Residents entertaining visitors or guests at the resort shall be responsible for their conduct while on the resort premises and shall be responsible for any charges or damages incurred by the visitor or guest. All visitors or guests must be registered at the office. Registered guests that have visitors after hours are required to notify the Reservations Department the following morning of the visitors name, vehicle description, and license number. There is a fee for overnight guests using the facilities.


MAXIMUM GUEST at each site to be not more than 8 people, 4 maximum for sites 1, 2, 10, 11, 55, 56, & 86.


CHILDREN - Sandpoint prides itself on being a family-oriented park year round. Everyone is welcome at Sandpoint. Please remember that children are not the responsibility of other residents or Sandpoint employees. Parents are solely responsible for the acts and conduct of their children.


USE OF FACILITIES - Management reserves the right to restrict the use of the recreation room or any other resort facility as to hours, purpose, and conduct. Scheduling of events for resort resident or any group of events must be approved by management. All gambling in the Recreation Room except Licensed Bingo is prohibited. Violation will result in eviction.


PROPANE - Propane is available within the park.

SECURITY - To ensure security within the park, all residents and guests are required to use vehicle passes issued by the office. Activities are for Sandpoint Marina and CatTail Cove guests unless otherwise announced. Sandpoint has a continuous security system that records all vehicles and watercraft (including license numbers & hull numbers) entering or leaving the park or the marina. Our security system also records video & audio of the Store, Reservations Department, Cafe, Lounge, Docks, Storage, Marine Shop, Bait & Tackle Shop and other areas. Audio recordings may also be made of telephone communications for quality assurance monitoring.


LIABILITY - All facilities are used at your own risk. The equipment, apparatus and facilities furnished solely for the convenience of guests and all persons using same do so at their own risk. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind or act of God.


ALCOHOL - Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and consumption under age is prohibited and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION WILL BE GROUNDS FOR EVICTION (WITH NO REFUND). In January 2003 The Arizona liquor License Control Board placed restrictions on the consumption of alcoholic beverages a various locations within Sandpoint in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes Title 4 4-244 articles 19 and 20. Please see the Reservations Department for a copy of these restricted locations.


TELEPHONE MESSAGES - Messages taken during store hours or on answering machine after hours will be posted on message board in front of store. Emergency messages will be delivered immediately, if received during business hours. Six public telephones are available.


CAMPFIRES - Campfires only in barbecue. Check with the General Store for any temporary fire restrictions published by the State of Arizona or Arizona State Parks.


FIREWORKS - Fireworks are prohibited by Arizona State Law.


REFUELING OF WATERCRAFT - QUOTE: The fueling of floating marine craft at other than a Marine Service Station is prohibited, refueling floating marine craft from portable containers is prohibited. UFC Sec 79.910 (D) 5. & 6. UNQUOTE The storage of fuel (even in approved containers) is prohibited at campsites or within the park area. Violation will result in immediate eviction WITH NO REFUND.


ENVIRONMENTAL - The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality requires that Sandpoint customers close the wastewater holding tank dump valves on the Recreational Vehicle and disconnect from campsite sewer lines during periods of heavy precipitation (Aquifer Protection Permit number P101620). The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality requires a back-flow protector on every fresh water hose bib. The back-flow protector is NOT a pressure reduction device. The removal of back-flow protectors will result in immediate eviction WITH NO REFUND.


CUSTOMER TRAILERS - Customer RV's and watercraft trailers can't have pad locks on the trailer tongue. Management needs the flexibility to move trailers in the case of an emergency situation (e.g. fire, etc.). Trailers that are found locked are subject to being towed and impounded at the customer's expense.


TWO WAY RADIO COMMUNICATIONS - Sandpoint has a formal Emergency Preparedness Plan as required by State law and an Emergency Response Team. All Sandpoint employees maintain VHF radio communications 24 hours per day in the case of an emergency situation in the park. Our Radio Frequency is licensed to us by the Federal Communications Commission; therefore, the transmitting on Sandpoint's operating frequency by guests is prohibited to keep the frequency open and available for any required emergency communications. See the General Manager to determine if your two-way radio is capable of transmitting on our operating frequency. Violation of this policy can result in eviction from the park without a refund.


BLOCKING A CAMPSITE - The nightly fee will be charged to the customer that blocks another campsite thereby preventing the occupancy of that campsite by another customer. Care should be taken to ensure that your vehicles, trailers, tents, etc. are within your campsite.


SWIM BEACH - The swim beach is reserved for swimmers only. You may not beach watercraft or moor watercraft inside the buoy lines.


SEWER CONNECTIONS - The Mohave County Health Department requires all sewer connections be sealed with a sewer seal device which is available for sale in the General Store.


MONTHLY GUESTS - Monthly sites are registered to two persons only. One of these persons must be present when the lot is being utilized. All guests must be registered in the office upon arrival. Rent is not transferable and does not accompany the sale of RV. Sites and boat slips may not be sublet.


PETS - Pets are allowed at Sandpoint, subject to applicable fees. Pets must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in the beach areas. Guests are required to use diligent care in cleaning up after their pets. Anyone not adhering to Sandpoint's policy is subject to a $10.00 fine. Disregard for our pet policy may result in guests vacating the park with no refund.


REFUNDS - No Holiday refunds. Must be at least 21 years old to rent a Campsite, Rental Unit, or Watercraft. Non-Holiday Refunds, Full Refund with 31 plus days cancellation notice, 75 percent refund with 15 to 30 days cancellation notice, NO REFUND with 14 days or less cancellation notice. No Refunds On Early Departures.


BENSON BAY – This area is closed to all motorized and non-motorized vehicles. (Arizona Revised Statutes - Criminal Trespass A.R.S. 13-1502)


WATERCRAFT LENGTH - The maximum watercraft length allowed to rent a slip in the marina is 25 feet (including a swim step).
